Fish Game Pond

Fish Game Pond is a little fishing hole for children located in the community of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada. The fishing park is an ideal, easy access location for young ones to learn the art of fishing.

The fishing hole is stocked with fish on a regular basis by the local fish and game club. Children under the age of 15 are only permitted to fish from the pond.

The Fish Game Pond is a large park like setting. There is a short walking trail which circles the pond to gain access to your favorite fishing spot. Or there is a large wooden pier for your young ones if they prefer to be closer to the centre of the pond.

Along the trail are a few sitting benches for onlookers and for seating anxious parents looking on.

Just a short distance from the pond is a pit toilet and a large group fire pit area surrounded by sitting benches. The fire pit is centrally located in a large grass field. Near the trees is a pit toilet.

How to Get to Fish Game Pond:

Travel to Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada. From downtown Rocky Mountain House on main street (52 Avenue) travel west connecting to Highway 11a. Pass over the Highway 11a bridge and take an immediate right. Continue down the road and the fish came pond park is on your left.
