Hinton, Alberta, Canada is an adventure and activity destination located on the banks of the Athabasca River in the Central Alberta region of Canada. Many refer to the community of Hinton as the "Gateway to the Rockies" because it is situated on the doorstep of Jasper National Park.

The winter adventure season begins after the snow has fallen covering local hills, trails and gravel roads... and after the temperatures have dropped freezing lakes and rivers.
