| Grande Cache Lake: A local recreation lake popular in the summer months for its sandy beach and for activities like water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing and fishing and during the winter months it is popular for ice fishing. |
| Willmore Wilderness Park: Explore by bike, on foot or by horse in the summer and skies in the winter when visiting this 4600 square kilometre wilderness park located at the foot of the Rockies. No roads in, no motorized vehicles permitted - just 750+ kilometres of rugged trails. There are staging areas within park for starting adventures. |
| A la Peche Trail: Located south of Grande Cache this is a 25 kilometre route which leads up to La Peche Lake where there is another 7 kilometre trail exploring the shores of the lake. Popular for hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, fishing and atving. |
| Sulphur Gates: Popular sightseeing attraction and a hiking and mountain biking destination loop trail measuring 25 kilometres long providing great views of a canyon, river and steep cliffs located near the community of Grande Cache. |
| Lightening Ridge Trail: A challenging 12 kilometre return hiking trail with an elevation gain of over 1400 metres leading to a high mountain ridge. The summit of Mount Stearn is an option destination for many on this route as it only measures 7 kilometres long from the same trailhead entrance and provides great views. |
| Grande Mountain Trail: A challenging 5 kilometre one way hiking route with an elevation gain of over 700 metres leading to a 2000 metre summit on Grande Mountain with views of Grande Cache and the surrounding mountain ranges. |
| Ambler Mountain Trail: A 4 kilometre one way recreation trail with an elevation gain of about 381 metres leading to two summit lookout points on Ambler Mountain. Popular for hiking and atving. |
| Pierre Grey's Lakes Trails Trail: There are about 50 kilometres of recreation trails (20 kilometres are maintained) in the Pierre Grey's Lake region popular for hiking, mountain biking and cross country skiing. Most of the trails explore the shores of the lakes with some forest hiking. |
| Eaton Falls Trail: A 2 kilometre one way trail following an old fire road leading to Eaton Falls starting from the Sulphur Gates Trailhead. The falls drop down from jagged cliffs and make for good sightseeing. Look for the unique antler sign on the trail and you are very close. |
| Griffith Trail: A 12 kilometre mountain biking and hiking trail which loops around the Grande Cache community with many access points. Great for sightseeing and exploring the Grande Cache area. |
| Sulfur Rim Trail: A well maintained community hiking and mountain biking loop trail measuring 7 kilometres long exploring a rocky canyon and a 250 foot gorge providing some excellent views. |
| Muskeg Falls Trail: A 1.5 kilometre easy-going, one way hiking trail with some challenging sections leading to a 43 foot waterfall, some jagged cliffs and some lookout platforms. |
| Fireman's Park: A great picnic day use site overlooking Sulphur Canyon near the community of Grande Cache. Services include picnic tables, picnic shelter, cooking area, washrooms, playground, fire pit and horseshoe pit |
