| Frank Slide is a 1903 landslide that came crashing down from the slopes of Turtle Mountain at 4:10 in the morning. The slide destroyed many buildings and many lives in just over 90 seconds. Today there are lookouts overlooking the slide. [ more information ] |

| Leitch Collieries is a historical sightseeing destination located near Bellevue in the Crowsnest Pass. The 1907-10 sandstone buildings including a washery, powerhouse, coke ovens and Hamilton House are impressive to view. [ more information ] |

| Chinook Lake is a canoe, camping , beach and hiking destination located west of the community of Coleman in the Crowsnest Pass of Alberta, Canada. The hiking trail is a 2.4 kilometre route circling the lake and connecting to the Deadman Pass Trail. | |
| Deadman Pass Trail is a one-way, challenging 7.3 kilometre hiking trail exploring through a forest leading up to a low lying pass on the Continental Divide. The trail is accessed from the Chinook Lake Trail. | |
| Blairmore Riverside Path is an easy-going sightseeing trail following the banks of the Crowsnest River in the community of Blairmore, Alberta. The route measures 2 kilometres one way and easily accessed from the community. | |
| Livingston Migration Viewpoint Trail is a challenging elevation trail measuring 2.6 kilometres one-way leading up to a birding viewpoint overlooking Rock Creek Valley. The viewpoint is popular for viewing raptors and golden eagles. Accessed from the gravel road north of Frank Slide. | |
| Turtle Mountain North Park Trail is a very challenging trail measuring 3 kilometres one way leading to panoramic views of Frank Slide. The trail is hazardous in areas for those who are not comfortable with cliff ledges, loose rocks and some hill climbing. Access from 16th Avenue back alley and follow pipeline to yellow rocks marking the trailhead. | |
| Mount Ward Trail is an extremely challenging 1.6 kilometre trail with an elevation gain of 630 metres. The trail leads to the window on Mount Ward. Best accessed from the southeast corner of Window Mountain Lake. | |
| Lille Trail is a 6.3 kilometre one way trail leading you on a historical adventure to the old mining community of Lille. Once at the old Lille townsite one will discover evidence of homes, mining and the once proud Lille Hotel. The most impressive structure in Lille are the brick coke ovens. Trail is best accessed near the cattle guard on the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre road. | |
| Promised Land Trail is a very difficult and challenging 8.7 kilometre one way trail with an elevation gain of about 1000 metres. The route crosses the Ptolemy Creek several times before leading up to a rocky pass with a selection of caves including the Gargantua and Cleft Caves. The caves should not be explored without equipment and the proper experience. Accessed from the gravel road located east of the bridge crossing Crowsnest Creek about 11 kilometres west of Coleman, Alberta. | |
| Crowsnest Mountain Trail is a very challenging, one way 5.8 kilometre hiking trail leading up to a 2785 metre mountain summit and some of the best views in the region. The hike includes some challenging climbs, loose and falling rock as well as steep ledges to traverse. This hike requires route finding skills and should only be attempted by experienced hikers. Access from the Allison Creek-Atlas Road located near Chinook Lake. | |
