Peace Park is a memorial park dedicated to the peacemakers of Canada. A large archway welcomes travelers to the park. The park is treed and includes monuments, sitting benches and flower gardens.
Elliston Park is a community park with a large pond and a water fountain. The central pond is surrounded by large grass lawns, picnic area, groves of trees, recreation trails, playgrounds, sitting benches and some flower gardens.
Griffith Woods is a 93 hectare "Special Protection Natural Environment Park" popular for birdwatching, wildlife sightings and hiking. There are boardwalk, paved, gravel and dirt trails exploring wetlands and forests of spruce trees leading to viewpoints, sightseeing benches. Also nearby are soccer fields and a playground.
Edworthy Park is a picnic and recreation park for 2 and 4 legged friends. There are day use picnic areas, a playground, some picnic shelters, firepits, walking and biking trails, washrooms and two off leash dog areas.
Sandy Beach is a 33 hectare recreation destination on the Elbow River. There are day use picnic areas and shelters, firepits, biking and walking paths, playgrounds, washrooms, water fountains, and a roof top boat launch for canoes and kayaks.
Baker Park is a community park with a amphitheatre, outdoor stage, large grass lawns, river views, viewpoints, day use picnic areas and water fountains. The park is very popular destination for events and weddings.
Weaselhead Flats is a birdwatching destination park measuring 237 hectares located on the banks of the Elbow River popular for sightseeing, hiking and wildlife sightings.
Beaverdam Flats is a community park popular for beaver dams, birdwatching, wildlife sightings and recreation. There are hiking trails, day use picnic areas, sightseeing benches and a playground.
