Brooks Aqueduct Brooks Aqueduct is a National and Provincial Historic Site dating back to the early 1900s. The aqueduct sits 20 metres above ground and measures over 3 kilometres long and 18 metres high. There is a Visitor Centre, viewing deck and washrooms.

Bassano Dam is the major historical dam (distribution point) of the irrigation system providing water to the many communities and farmers in the region. There is a viewing platform with views of the dam and the valley as well as a day use picnic site.
Pelican Island is a popular birdwatching destination for birdwatching especially for viewing white pelicans. The island is a nesting and feeding destination of the white pelicans located on the southwest shores of Lake Newell.
